A proud graduate of Samford University’s McWhorter School of Pharmacy (Class of 2010), Emily has dedicated her career to building trusting relationships with patients and ensuring they receive the highest standard of care. Emily’s passion for pharmacy is matched by her love for music. Whether attending live shows, playing her piano at home, or exploring new genres, music remains a joyful constant in her life. Outside the pharmacy, she cherishes time with her three children and her spirited pup, Drama. Emily leads with compassion, expertise, and a genuine dedication to improving lives—one prescription at a time.
Don Godwin, PharmD – Pharmacist
Don Godwin is a dedicated pharmacist with a passion for patient care and community health. A graduate of Auburn University’s Harrison School of Pharmacy, Don is known for his kind demeanor and strong work ethic. He takes pride in going the extra mile to ensure each patient feels supported and informed.
Outside of the pharmacy, Don enjoys quality time with his three children, making family a central part of his life. His genuine care and commitment make him a valued part of the team and a trusted resource for patients.
Gary Brooks, RPh – Pharmacist
Gary Brooks brings over three decades of pharmacy experience and a lifelong passion for independent pharmacy to our team. He began his career in 1991 and earned his degree from Samford University’s McWhorter School of Pharmacy in 1995. For 25 years, Gary owned and operated his own independent pharmacy, building lasting relationships with his patients and community. After retiring in December 2021, Gary continued to share his expertise as a relief pharmacist. In 2025, we were proud to welcome him to our team in that role. His depth of experience, steady presence, and patient-first mindset make him a trusted and valued member of our pharmacy family.
Gary has been happily married for nearly 25 years and is the proud father of two college-aged children. His commitment to both his profession and his family is evident in everything he does.
Jessica Milam – Store Manager & Lead Pharmacy Technician
Meet Jessica Milam, a valued member of the Jacks Pharmacy team for over 13 years. As our Store Manager and Lead Certified Pharmacy Technician, Jessica brings more than 15 years of experience in the pharmacy field. She’s known for her dedication, versatility, and genuine care for each and every patient. Jessica wears many hats at the pharmacy, ensuring operations run smoothly while also providing expert support to both staff and customers. Her commitment to service makes her a trusted and familiar face to the community.
When she’s not at the pharmacy, Jessica enjoys spending time with her two children and close-knit family. Whether you need help with a prescription or have questions about your medication, Jessica is always here to help.
Keri Stewart – Pharmacy Technician
Keri Stewart has been a dedicated Pharmacy Technician at Jack’s for the past 7 years. Known for her upbeat personality and attention to detail, Keri excels at helping each and every patient with their medication needs, always going the extra mile to ensure they feel cared for and informed. A true foodie at heart, you might catch Keri sneaking a snack or starting an impromptu dance party behind the counter—her energy is contagious and keeps our team smiling. Outside of work, she loves spending quality time with her husband and two children.

Sayla Creel – Pharmacy Technician
Sayla Creel has been a Pharmacy Technician at Jack’s Pharmacy for the past 5 years. She takes great pride in advocating for our patients, ensuring they receive the support and care they deserve. Sayla’s strong sense of faith and personal discipline make her a reliable and compassionate presence within our team. Carla Porter – Customer Service Manager
Carla Porter has been the friendly face behind the counter at Jack’s since 2019. As our Customer Service Manager, she brings heart, dedication, and a true passion for helping others. Carla is committed to making every patient feel welcomed and cared for, always ready to assist in any way she can. She loves being part of a pharmacy that serves such a close-knit community and takes pride in building meaningful relationships with our patients. Her genuine smile is contagious—people come in feeling seen and leave feeling better.
Outside of work, Carla enjoys spending time with her two children—a 29-year-old son and an 18-year-old daughter who’s headed off to college. Her warmth and positivity make her an irreplaceable part of the Jacks Pharmacy team.
Erica Pope – Pharmacy Technician
Erica Pope joined the Jack’s Pharmacy team as our newest Pharmacy Technician, bringing over a decade of experience since starting her career in 2013. She’s excited to continue her work in the field she loves—right here in her hometown of West Blocton. Erica is married to Brandon Pope, and together they’re raising three teenagers. Outside the pharmacy, you’ll find them enjoying the great outdoors—whether it’s hunting, fishing, or relaxing at the beach.
With her experience, hometown pride, and passion for patient care, Erica is a wonderful addition to the Jacks Pharmacy family.
Caitlin Lemley – Customer Service Representative
Caitlin Lemley is one of the friendly voices and faces you’ll encounter at Jack’s Pharmacy. A proud graduate of West Blocton High School, Caitlin went on to earn her associate degree from Lawson State Community College. As a Customer Service Representative, she is dedicated to making sure every patient feels welcomed and cared for. Caitlin enjoys connecting with the community she grew up in and brings a helpful, positive attitude to everything she does. Outside of work, she loves spending time at the lake and being with her family and friends. She also has one sister who she’s especially close to.

Will Smith – Delivery Driver
Will Smith has been proudly serving as our trusted Delivery Driver since 2021. With a strong drive to provide excellent patient care, Will goes above and beyond to ensure our patients receive their medications promptly and with a personal touch.
He loves getting to know the patients he serves and takes pride in making each delivery a positive experience. Will’s friendly demeanor and commitment to service help extend the care of Jacks Pharmacy beyond our front doors.
When he’s not on the road, Will enjoys spending quality time with his wonderful wife, Caryl, and their beloved cats. We’re grateful to have him as a key part of our team.
Annette Pruett – Customer Service Representative
Annette Pruett is a familiar face to many in West Blocton, and we’re proud to have her on the Jack’s Pharmacy team as a Customer Service Representative. A true local, Annette joined us after working at a beloved local florist, where she built strong connections throughout the community.
She’s a newlywed and proud pet mom to four lovable fur babies. Annette has a passion for cooking and a heart for service—qualities that shine through in her interactions with every patient. She finds great joy in helping others and loves being part of a team that serves the community she calls home.
